I just lost 2 hours of post because I had disabled javascript and blogger wigged out on me. Damn it all but you'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see how SSC went.

This is why I use Firefox for bloging. If it messes up you can hit the back button and your text is still there. Looking forward to tomorrow's update!
Being the paranoid individual that I usually am, I tend to write out my posts in WordPad first, then post it into the box on Firefox, preview at least once, and then hit the Post button. Even then, I still find there are times when my posts get eaten and I don't have a suitable backup.
Fortunately, Wordpress autosaves copies of your posts. I just wish that it would save more than just the title and a blank entry every ten seconds when it does!
ummm ... embarrassment time :(
I use Firefox and blogger auto saves the post every 30 seconds or so ... but I turned off javacript in firefox , and its java script that auto saves the post ... and I had written the post, had the wiggout when I tried to manually save it, refreshed the page a dozen times and then it dawns on me what I've done.
I was completely and utterly self owned
